Dr. Christopher Dallimore
Christopher Dallimore is a Senior Researcher at the ICTL and Head of studies of the Master of Customs, Taxation and International Trade Law (MCA). In his role, he designs, implements and manages accreditations of the Online Master’s programme and represents the MCA at European and international level.
Mr. Dallimore was born in the United Kingdom and studied law at the University of Wales, UK from 1989 to 1993. After graduating in 1993 with a LL.B., he subsequently received his “Magister der Rechte” (Master of Laws) at the University of Trier, Germany.
Besides various other positions, Mr. Dallimore was research assistant at the Centre for European Private Law (1998-2003) and the Department of Customs and Excise (2004-2008) at the University of Münster and held lectures in Legal English as part of the Foreign Law and Language Programme. Since 2010 he is Senior Resercher at the ICTL.
He wrote his dissertation “Does the Container Security Initiative Comply with WTO Law?” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hans Michael Wolffgang and receicved his PhD in 2008.
Chris Dallimore was Sub-Editor of the “World Customs Journal” (2010-2013) and published numerous articles in leading legal journals such as the “Außenwirtschaftsrechliche Praxis” (AW-Prax). He is an expert in the field of Customs and International Trade Law.
