Dr. Kai Henning Felderhoff
Kai Henning Felderhoff is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Customs and International Trade Law since 2009. He studied law at the University of Münster from 2005 to 2010 and completed the Foreign Law and Language Programme. Following the First State Examination in 2010, Mr. Felderhoff wrote his dissertation “Origin as a basis for commercial policy measures” (2014) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hans-Michael Wolffgang and received his PhD in 2014.
In the subsequent legal clerkship from 2013 to 2015 Kai-Henning-Felderhoff had stations at the Main Customs Office Osnabrück and the Financial Court of Düsseldorf. Since 2016 he is an associated lawyer at the AWB LAW GmbH and advises on EU Customs Law.
Dr. Felderhoff is a permanent employee of the “Außenwirtschaftliche Praxis” (AW-Prax) – a leading german jorunal in foreign trade law. He is co-author of several standard works of customs law such as „Wolffgang/Jatzke – Kommentar zum Zollkodex der Union“ or “Witte/Wolffgang, Lehrbuch des Zollrechts der Europäischen Union”. Kai Henning Felderhoff regularly publishes articles in high-regarded academic legal journals regarding topics in Customs Law.
